Oscar, my 10-yr. old Leonberger mix, has always been sensitive to medications, so as the pain in his back and legs increased, I pursued alternative treatments. For several years Dr. Grubb has been providing Oscar acupuncture for pain management and general stiffness in his back and legs. Not only has acupuncture reduced his pain; it increases his mobility and overall healthy feeling. I believe he a happier dog because of the treatments! Dr. Grubb listens to what I see in Oscar and adjusts her treatment to fit his needs. She is very intuitive and senses what he likes/dislikes. He especially loves the “mini” massage at the of his treatment – very calming. Another advantage for Oscar (and me) is that she sees him at home!
